There’s a particular kind of stuck that goes deeper than a to-do list.
Hey, I’m Sally
I work with business owners, solo founders and small teams (including bigger businesses of 50+ people who’ve thrown in tools and automations and created their own overwhelm). They’re capable, self-aware and doing all the right things, and they still know something isn’t working. They’re organised on paper but working reactively underneath.
I help them cut through the noise, work out what genuinely needs doing and build a way of working that fits them as a human, not just as a business owner. Through Mind and Body, I also support the people behind the businesses: anyone running on empty who wants to find their own way back.
Our Mission
to help business owners, professionals and anyone currently stuck at a crossroads in life understand themselves and their business well enough to build a way of working and living that actually fits them, putting the human at the centre of every decision.
The Lodestar Compass Values
Empowerment
An honest space to find your own answers, rather than depending on me.
Human-first
You and your business or hurdle are never treated as separate problems.
Clarity over complexity
No tool, automation or AI prompt replaces you being able to hear yourself.
Accountability
Insight only counts if it turns into an actionable next step.
Groundedness
Calm, steady and unhurried: we find your pace and stick to it.
The Importance of Wellbeing
I’ve spent most of my working life sitting with people at their most stuck. As a Recruitment Consultant and Employability Coach inside HMP Holloway, I helped women rebuild their lives from the ground up. Later, as an EA in the City, I worked alongside senior leaders in high-pressure environments. Different worlds, same truth: you can’t build something that lasts if the person at the centre of it is running on empty.
Then life handed me my own version of that lesson. A period of significant upheaval dismantled the version of myself I’d carefully built, and I rebuilt it from my kitchen table, single parenting and juggling all of it. I leaned on honesty, reflection and accountability, and on the understanding that the body keeps score: you can’t think your way to clarity when your nervous system is in survival mode. That understanding became my training in Kinesiology, Reiki and SomaPsych Alignment, and Body Phonics grew out of it.
Building the Method
In 2025 I started building an online wellbeing course around four directions. I never launched it, but I realised the same four things that block a person from healing block a business from moving forward. The human and the business really are the same system, and they need the same compass. That’s how The Lodestar Compass Method™ was born: the framework I wish I’d had in my own hardest years.
My Experience
Recruitment Consultant and Employability Coach, HMP Holloway: I’m at ease with people at their most stuck, and I bring no judgement, only a way forward.
Corporate Executive Business Support: I’ve seen high-pressure environments from the inside, and how flawless-looking systems can be quietly falling apart underneath.
Already Done Virtual Business Support: years of hands-on business support, so I don’t only advise, I do the work with you.
Kinesiologist, Reiki practitioner and SomaPsych Alignment practitioner (Body Phonics): Certified through relevant professional bodies, I understand how energy and nervous system state affect whether anything else holds.
Santander Women Business Leader Mentorship 2026: Lodestar Compass has been built through a structured mentorship and the support of experts.
Legal Secretarial training & ICO member: I take legals seriously, and keep up to date with changes in business-relevant laws for the sake of the data I hold and so I can accurately inform clients of obligations
Enhanced DBS: cleared and certified to safely work with children and vulnerable adults
When I’m not working
I’m usually outdoors; a hike, camping or a paddleboard adventure if I can manage it, or getting creative in the kitchen when I’m not churning out beige-food favourites for the kids.
I feel more at home outdoors in nature than I ever have done in any building, and find a wander in Ashdown Forest fixes most things. On a clear night, the kids and I can be found looking for the brightest star in the sky - that’s Grandad (my Dad), and the original inspiration of Lodestar.
